writes: I recently started a new job and I had my first one-on-one with my manager this week. We go over my numbers, performance, etc. During the one-on-one he was really nervous. His leg was shaking, he kept calling himself an idiot, and he wouldn't really make eye contact with me. At the end of the meeting he told me that he's not a mind reader and he had trouble reading people, especially girls, and if I needed something from him, I should tell him.I don't think I am an intimidating person and I'm relatively quiet and shy. I've seen him give these things with other employees and he didn't seem to be like that with other people. He's been a manager for a year and a half so I think he would be more comfortable with conducting these meetings. I am interested in him, and I've been wondering if he is interested in me too. I think he is giving me signals that he is interested, but I worry that he just want me to like him as a manager.
