writes:hello there.Well I have this problem. This girl was my best friend throughout elementary school. At middle school we drifted apart and had separate sets of friends. My class changed and now I'm with her. She's really popular and has a huge amount of friends. Well...the problem is that I think she has some sort of crush? on me. Whenever we have to sit next to each other she shifts away, like REALLY far away.She sneaks glances at me during practice. She tried to make some small talk with me but it always ended with someone interrupting. At lunch she usually stares at me (discreetly) and when I look back at her, our eyes meet and it's kind of embarassing.She gives me compliments whenever I do something right, which she doesn't do to other people.Does she have some sort of crush on me? or am I just being paranoid/annoyance to her?

 Maybe she misses your friendship and she just feels awkward around you and she wants that closeness back. Why not try and get the friendship back on track and see how it goes.
