 It can work - I have a friend who's 40 now, beautiful, successful business woman, made many 10's of millions of dollars on her own, when she was 36 she married a guy 26 years older than her. They've had a baby, they seem very happy. But you have to reconcile yourself to the fact that she is likely going to be a widow for a long time.
