It is perfectly natural for students to develop feelings towards teachers. Sometimes they are feelings of friendship or kinship, sometimes they are feelings of attraction, and sometimes of deep love. Teachers and students are not able to act on these feelings, and there are good reasons for that - it is too easy for teachers to take advantage of studens, they have a lot of power and control in these circumstances. But it doesn't make your feelings wrong. It is not the teachers fault that you have feelings, and they cannot stop you having your feelings. The question is, what happens when you fall in love with someone you can't be with. Some people get sad or frustrated. Some are just happy that they are in love. You can't always choose how you feel, but you can choose what you think about your feelings, and this can help.
Good luck.

You cant blame someone for another persons emotions.
Even IF in the hypothetical a teacher flirted with a student it does make the student like them, same applies to all crushes/loves throughout life.
Anyway like eyes said Students have liked teachers for decades probably forever really. Teachers usually ignore them

Schoolgirl crushes have existed since education began. Most teachers are obvious or choose to ignore them. The broken heart mends fast and the whole crush ends up being one of those "whatever was I thinking?" kind of memories.

There is no way that you could hold a teacher responsible for somebody else's emotions. It's just not possible to control.

I'm currently in that situation with a teacher so i know how it feels.
I think it depends on the situation a teacher could be encouraging it (Which is very rare) or the pupil could just have extremely strong feelings for the teacher that can go away within weeks, months, years or in my situation just never go away!!So to be honest i don't think it is the teachers fault they could just be very friendly towards the pupil and the they will think of it as something else.I think teachers should have alot more consideration for the pupils going through it and how much it actually hurts cause it hurts so much!!
I hope that helped and i hope i ddin't babble on for too long.Btw i'm 12.Privately e-mail me if you want!!
