It's a good rule to follow that you have no sexual contact with someone unless they know they are clean and you trust them.

 Absolutely! There are loads of STI/STD's that can be caught by giving oral sex. The main one being a form of herpes!
If you think that you have any kind of STI/STD in your mouth, go straight to your local GP or an STD clinic that are run. An oral STD is nothing to laugh about and can be painful.
