writes:Hi allim a male aged 22. My girlfriend and i had sex(unprotected). She was on my lap and eventually turn to missionery with her on top. I ejaculated during da lap position. She asked how many times did i come inside her and it was only during the lap position.. Its been two days now and her period is due in 3 days time, she ovulated 10 days back and 8 days back from the day we had sex. Can she possibly be pregnant? Do we have to wait for her period in three days or she can't be pregnant if she ovulated 8 days back? I love her so much and she plans on completing college first before considering a baby.. We always use condoms, please help us!

 The longer you wait, the more likely it is to be accurate. If you really want to know, you could go to a clinic and get a professional blood or urine test.

She thinks she may not be pregnant even though she keeps mentioing that "what if i am". It also makes me think that she is not because the obvious sign that she's approaching her period is painfull nipples( of which she's experiencing right now) but we still waiting for that period... Now i want to know, when can we take the test so that its more accurate?

 Do a pregnancy test, I think it's a little late for her to take a morning after pill.
There's a chance that she may not be pregnant, but you should find out as soon as possible, just in case you both are worrying over nothing.
In the future, be more careful! Always use a condom or even better, put her on birth control just to double up on protection!

reader, anonymous, writes (29 June 2008): I understand your concern and yes you have both been irisponsible but everyone makes mistakes.Did you not think about getting the morning after pill you can take it up to 72 hours after but the sooner you take it the better obviously this its too late As it is if it was only 2 days ago that you had sex and if she is due in 3 days then the chances of your girlfriend been pregnant are really low but yeh there could be a slight chance she has got cought and you will have to see if she has a period if she is late then take a pregnancy test good luck.

You don't have to wait for her period. Go to any convenience store and look for brands like First Response pregnancy test. They are able to predict pregnancy several days before her missed period.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 June 2008): I have empathy with your stress and fear; what you did to have unprotected sex was very wrong ( as you are aware of course); however, according to the dates given by yourself the chances of her being pregnant are small; but there is always a risk and you will have to wait for her periods; if the periods are a few days late, do a pregancy test!
Be more carefull in future; do not spoil your rleationship and future with unwanted pregancies!
