writes: My boyfriend is 29 years of age. He does not like to have sex often, I usually have to initiate sex all the time. I ask him if it's me and he say's no, and replies with saying I don't have a sex drive any more. Is he telling the truth, when he says the reason for not wanting sex often has nothing to do with me? Is it possible that he is not into me any more?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2009): Just because the interest isn't there, doesn't mean what that he is not into you. Many things cause the sex drive to diminish. Have you looked at his stress level? Does he have a high stress job, family life etc. Does he seem to be displaying symptoms of depression? These factors will often cause decrease in sexual arousal or libito. My advice to you would be to try to have an open converstation with him about why, ask if there is things stressing him or bothering him.
