writes: I am very stubborn… I finally went out with the guy and we spent a day together... I still footed half the bill… but I think I lost my virginity… I still feel as one tho… His did not penetrate me… I did not allow him but I saw blood on the bed and then when I went to the toilet to check… I was bleeding. I have realized its not worth it rushing but I am not even sober about anything. Can I tell any guy i date in the future that my hymen is broken but I have not been penetrated?. Does it make any sense. Is it possible for your hymen to be broken and you are still a virgin? I am confused.

I do not care about a hymen. What good is that? All it does it cause some hurt when you try to have sex.
I care about somebody's choice to have sex and their experience with it. Accidentally breaking a hymen means nothing, getting raped is not losing virginity, etc.

While an intact hymen - and the resultant bleeding upon being "deflowered" - is a charming (though outdated) notion.... it is NOT exclusively so.
Many young woman will tear their hymen during regular activities or exercises... horseback riding and gymnastics are commonly noted.....
As to your question.... if you have any out-of-the-ordinary discharge, peculiar feelings in your vagina area, or if you just plain feel troubled about such matters, it would be wise to have a full gynecological exam.... In fact, it would have the extra benefit of you having an opportunity to discuss this matter with a medical professional who can give you better information and guidance than can any of us on here, long distance.
Good luck....

Did he TRY to put his penis in your vagina... because even if he got a tip in, then yes sadly you lost your virginity.
If he did it with his fingers... you are technically still a virgin.
