I agree with ArmyMedic, and don't get too worked up about it. My mom was Lutheran and my dad was a divorced Catholic (a big no-no in the church). They had been intimate before they were married and when the did get married had a hell of a time trying to find a church that would marry them, but in the long run who cares? You love each other and that's all that matters....right?

Yeah, go for it. Depending on how Catholic he is, and how strict his church is, they may or may not allow a ceremony in their church. Churches often offer couples counseling, and you two could discuss these matters there and get clearer answers.

Yes of course you can, you may have to have a civil ceremony rather than a church wedding, as the Catholic church can be a little funny at times. But the best advise is for you both to speak to his priest for advise.
