One of my good friend's mom is married to her second cousin (second marriage for both, and since they were in their late 40 and didn't WANT any more children) there really isn't anything "wrong" in it. They have been married almost 25 year.

People have been marrying relatives for millennia.

Okay? Yes. A good idea? It's questionable, to say the least, just because there is a name for the family relationship you have.
