He has been on vacation for a month and came back 4 days ago, we met and he just hugged me, I spent the night with him, cuddled no sex coz I didn't want to. I told him before how much I loved kissing but he just pecks me on the cheeks. My question is, is it okay for a guy to give me oral sex but not kiss me? I'm getting turned off, what do I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (21 January 2009): I used to get uncomfortable when it came to kissing. I dont understand why that would happen to me but i'll try to explain. Swapping spit was a bit weird for me, but i think it was more because I'm a shy person and having my face so close to someone else's seemed awkward, particularly in public places. I also never knew when to initiate the kiss so I would normally wait for my partner to make the first move. I would just ask him straight out why he doesnt like kissing, at least then you'll bring it to his attention and maybe prompt him to think about why he doesnt enjoy it; but dont expect a clear answer, i doubt he fully understands why he doesnt like kissing either. I also agree with what the previous anonymous poster said, its possible he's involved with someone else or questioning his sexuality.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 January 2009): I don't know how I could explain it any better, but if you have bad breath maybe he would rather give you a peck on the cheek than kiss you. Try sucking a peppermint and see if that makes any difference.
Alternatively, he simply might not like swapping spit, although if he's willing to do oral that seems rather unlikely.
