Is this right to date my best friend sister.she is in my college and 4 years younger than me. I really like her and want to tell her that but i am scared.she is very beautiful and we are good friends.we have talked many times and i enjoy her company.Even my classmates taunt me whenever she's around. First i thought that it could be mere attraction so i tried to stay away from her but whenever i see her theres butterflies in my stomack and i couldnt stop but talk to her.i couldnt stop my feelings towards her.

Now is this morally correct toward my friend.going after his sister? Is this just attraction or something serious. Should it would be ok if i make a move?

So_Very_Confused agony auntI have family friends (they are in their late 70s now) and one brother is married to one sister. the other brother is married to the other sister

in other words bill and bob are brothers. bill married susie who is sister to better who married bob.

seems fine to me.

but ask the brother how he feels about it.... and consider that if you and sister do date and it does not work out you may lose your best friend or if not, be awkward around his sister (your ex) later on.

Yes, its perfectly fine, just be careful because if things go sour with her it could really affect your friendship.

My dad married his best friends sister (my mum) and they have been married for 25years so yeah it could work :)

He's the person you should ask not us.

OP I don't know Indian culture so maybe it's normal there but here in Ireland 90% of the time it's a big no-no. Our rule is no ex's and no immediate family members.

If things don't work out then you may lose both of them and frankly OP I don't know many guys who would be okay with friends dating their sisters. I mean how would you feel if your best friend was shagging your mother? Well he may feel the exact same way about you banging his sister.

best to ask him and then decide based on what he says.

Life is too short to throw away such an important friendship just to get a girl when there about 500 million other women in your country that you could go for.
