writes: My boyfriend and i just became sexually active 2 days ago. We were both virgins. In the last 2 days we have had sex 4 times.The first time it was pretty painful. And the last 3 times have been painful but not as much. The last time felt good but it was sort of still kind of painful....Does my body just need to get use to it?If the pain continues what should i do and how long should i wait til i do something about it?Oh and it still hurts everytime he inserts.... But hes very gentle with me.....

You're very normal. Eventually your body will adjust. For me, it took about a week or two for it to start to feel good without any pain. I assure you that it will feel much better before too long!
