hey darling, when you start your periods, it can take anywhere from a month to years for your period to regulate - your body is just getting used to the change and it is completely normal. as time goes on, it will just fall into place and start occurring on a monthly basis. its very rare for a girl to start her period and for them to be regular - a friend of mine was 18 wen hers finally synced up!! so dont you worry, there is nothing abnormal or wrong with you! its just a part of growing up xxx

reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2008): When a girl starts her period, they're never ever regular! Or at least its very rare! Mine were all over the place for about a year. A year is about how long they should take at the most to settle down into a regular pattern. So it's nothing at all to worry about honey, honestly, you're normal. Just put it to the back of your mind :]
