A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and I have been going out for two months now. Things are great but I see him starting to change a little. He's still very good with me not outwardly mean or ignores me. But something about him seems to be a little distancing.he texts me a little less than before. Not an immense amount. He usually tells me when he has to go to some place and can't talk anymore and I respect that. But lately he's just been ending the convo without notice. Which I'm sure he doesn't mean to do it. But is it because hhes becoming more comfy? Also he sometimes doesn't outwardly care about wats going on in my life. Its occasional that this happens usually he asks. I'm basically asking if its normal for guys to become more distant as the relationship progressess

well if one partner is becoming distant that means the relationship is 'regressing' not 'progressing.'

but to answer your 'real' question, i think it's common for a relationship to regress the more time passes on.
