But usually the pain lasts only for that day, but this time it dragged out a couple of days, my period was unusual as it was very light, darker and thicker (sorry for the graphic detail) and I'm still experiencing the pain now. I'm just worried it's not actually my period and maybe something more.Does anyone know or maybe had similar problems to help me understand why it's being like this?thanks.

If you've always been careful when having sex then I would assume this is just a period. If this continues though, please go and see a doctor as it could be something more. Don't feel embarassed, they see problems like this everyday and it's better to be safe.

If you are bleeding when your period is ment to be then the chances are it is your period. Your not pregnant because you wouldn't be bleeding if you were.
At a young as your body is changing all the time which will cause you to have light and heavy periods. Your blood colour vairys of how much oxygen is in it so i wouldn't worry about the colour. Your period can be from a purply to a brown colour.
Period pain isn't nice but all us girls have to go through it. Some people physically can't move because they have such bad pain, so you are completely normal! Hot water bottles and chicken soup i have found helps with period pain. Also breath out when you feel the pain comming on can also help.
Good luck
