I most definitely thought of him as more than just my therapist... I thought of him as a really great friend, and we got really close. He was only and intern or whatever those young therapists in training are so, he got relocated to Cincinnati (in Ohio...).When he left... I never gave him my address or anything, and now that I think of it, I have no idea why... I think I think about him everyday. I've gone through moments where he was just a great friend and I just have to be glad I met him - to he was a great friend and I need to find him. Usually is the latter. I miss him so much. I just want to talk to him. That's not irrational is it? Would I ever be able to track him down? How would I even begin looking for him.. it can't be that hard can it?... You were in a vulnerable state and he was there being nice and strong and listening to you.
But guess what - that was his job. This is why people go back to these therapists and pay them stupid amounts of cash to talk about how they feel about cats.
If he's qualified then he's probably on some kind of national register of therapists. Check on there and you should be able to find a number.
However, just be careful that you didn't read too much into a situation. You were in therapy so your judgement can't have been 100%.
Good Luck!! xx
