reader, anonymous, writes (3 June 2010): The other two answers are great, but it also depends on the age, maturity of the guys, how often they have sex, the type of relationship they have with the girl and whole host of other factors.
Generally the younger or more immature the guys the more detail they will go into.
If a guy is in a long term relationship with a girl usually sex isn't even discussed unless it is kinky or unusual, even then it's without much detail.
A casual liason is more likely to have more detail. This can also be true of new relationships.
The again there are guys that just love to talk about it in detail bu these guys are usually the player type with little respect for their girlfriends.
In my experience though, girls talk about sex more oftena dn in greater detail with their friends than guys do because as the previous poster said in most cases the guys that talk aboutsex the most get it the least.

I often find the more a man goes on about his sex life, the less he is actually having. It's common enough, but usually men who actually have respect and such keep discussions to a minimum. The ones who go on about it either have little respect for their partner, or don't get it.
