not going to repeat what everyone is saying :] but why not use a clear strengthening varnish for a couple of days, i can understand why you would want to match your outift...but is there a colour you wear most..if there is wear that nail varnish...ooo and remmeber if using black use an undercoat coz it stains the nails :D

It'll make them brittle and easier to break but nothing major. Try using a nail strenghthener inbetween paining them. I think sally hanson does one.

It depends on the quality of your nail, I guess. My nails use to crack up a little if I've used nail polish for a longer time, like they can sometimes do when using fake nails. Then I just cut them down and let them rest a couple of weeks without polish and they go back to normal again pretty soon.
I would recommend you to be careful when you pick the remover. Some are stronger than others and make more damage. Look for the ones labelled mild. It could be a little harder work to get the polish off but it is definitely worth it to save the nails.
And use some oil/moisturiser now and then to keep them smooth and flexible. And let them rest a day or two of a week.
Good luck!

This is a particularly strong solvent which will dissolve any oily secretions in your nails and skin around your fingers. I think there's a possibility that you could get dermatitis - ie an irritation of the skin from over use.
The best person to ask would probably be your doctor, who would know of any possible consequences of over use.
