Like what the others said. It is legal to date an 18 yr old guy when you're 14 but it IS illegal to perform any sort of sexual activity.

Its not against the law to date someone who is 18 if you are only 14, but it is against the law to have sexual contact with him. Its called statutory rape, and depending on what state you are in, it can have dire concequences.
If you and he do have any sexual contact, even if you are a willing partner, and even if your parents are okay with it, he can still be charged and the concequences severe!
4 years may not seem like a big age gap to you just now, but it really is.
If you like each other that much, perhaps wait a couple of years until you and he are more mature. Then see what happens!

I'm almost 15 and my bf is about to turn 18.. It's not against the law to DATE him but it IS against the law to engage in any sort of sexual activity. Be careful what you're doing and who you tell about anything, also any rumors that could potentialy get started.
