writes: Hi, The problem is I am 19 and I have never had a boyfriend. It's not like I couldn't have had one; it'sjust I am realy picky about who I trust and I am nervous about the whole thing.Anyway... there are 2 or 3 guys on my college course I know like me, but I only like one of them!I don't know how to go about getting this guy. I do catch him staring at me sometimes when he thinks I don't notice. Also he jokes around with me and we hold long stares in each others' eyes.He often touches my arm and shows off etc, but I ain't always sure whether he is joking around or not. What do you think?If you think he does like me then how do I approach the subject or give him a sign I like him too!Because every time I try he goes all shy and can't look at me and stuff and then later on be completely fine!Help!

 Mommyofthree is probably right, go for it, swap phone numbers you never know what might happen. This guy sounds shy and I think maybe taking the lead a little in this situation might be a great help to you both.

 It sounds like he is probably interested in you, so if I were you I would just give him my phone number and ask him to call you if he wants to get together for a date or to hang out. That way even though you are making a move you are still leaving the ball in his court he has to take the really important step to ask you out. In the end if he doesn't call then you know he wasn't interested, but my feelings are he will call. Good luck.
