writes:My ex who dumped me and moved interstate calls me a couple of times a week. I am getting mixed messages. When he phoned the last time we had a good chat about general stuff and he said it was really good to hear my voice and he said if I need a place to stay when I move interstate I am welcome to stay at his place. Is he still interested in me or is he saying this out of guilt or politeness?? I do have strong feelings for him but I am not going to make a fool of myself and believe there is something there if there isn't.

 I doubt he has any real feelings and is just being nice.
my advice is that if you still have feelings for him, you must go NO CONTACT to help yourself heal.
