writes:I split wiv my ex 2 months ago, we recently made friends and I still really like him. The thing is, he seems to be sending me mixed signals and its really getting me down. Every time I see him we stop and talk and he asks me what Im doing at the weekend and whether I wanted to go out wiv him. To me this indicates that he still likes me and maybe wants to get back with me. But then if I text him during the week he never replies and when the weekend comes I dont hear from him. Now Im wondering whether he just makes small talk wiv me when he sees me and maybe it is his way of being polite and showing that we could still be friends? He never contacts me in any way but when we were together he would call me every day and we would see each other about 4 times a week. I just dont understand why he asks me my plans at the weekends and asks me to go out with him and then I dont hear from him. I cant really ask him outright why he's doing it because he shys away from confrontation and does not seem to be able to have conversations about emotions and feelings. I just dont know what to do or what to think.

if he had real plans to go out on weekends he would have made some arrangements too. first of all, check out how busy he is currently. maybe he cant call you because of a busy schedule. there is another possibility that he might be avoiding contact with you because sometimes guys do that to protect themselves from old feelings
