Over the past week or so he's started acting a bit off with me, we're more like passing strangers or people who have just met than the friends we used to be. He sent me a text last week saying 'you are my one true love' and 'i'm telling all my friends how amazing you are'. I stupidly replied that I felt the same, forgetting that he was out at a birthday bash and was probably drunk at the time. I got a message a few days later saying 'you're always in my dreams' but since then he's been avoiding me and when we do talk it's all one word answers. The general consensus is that he's scared because he's never been attracted to women before me but are they wrong? have I just scared him off completely? or if they're right besides space and time how can I be a good friend and help him through this?

Some gays have this, my gay friend acts like he is my boyfriend sometimes because we are extremely close to each other. He might be bisexual, and you might no even know about it. Or it just could be a stage he is going through.
