writes:Ok..So i'm only 15 and I don't have much experience with relationships but I really like this boy that lives on my street. I see him almost eveyday and he's best friend's with my sister so he comes to my house a lot but he doesnt fancy my sister because she's more of a tom boy, but theyv'e known eachother since they were little so..Anyway he hasnt had much girfriend, just one with my cousin. She said she liked him when she was drunk but when shes sober she said she wanted to call it off. I could tell he really liked her as he was upset for a while but then he got over her. He has never done anything with a girl but a few week ago we went to a party at a friends house, me, him, my sister and a few more and he went upstairs with this girl and didn't come down for a while. Then a rumour went round they hooked up and their together. I don't know whats happening with them now but he never hardy see's her. When he see's me, he tries to make conversation, even when he's with his friends that I dont know. He makes me laugh, hes kind to me and when my sister says to him "who should we get out because its boring" he says "get your sister" and when I was out a couple days ago with a few other girls I had this really nice perfume on (Beyonce-Heat) that I got for christmas and he knew it was me that had it on but he said "someone smells georgeous" and I was gonna say "is it me?" but my other friend said "its me!" so I left it..but he smiled at me after. I really like him but i'm scared that now because hes done someone with a girl he might become a bit of a wierdo chasing other girls. I havnt spoke to him in days and when I do come out, he gets happy and tells me not to go in when im cold. He gives me his jacket and gloves when im freezing. Does he like me or the girl he liked before? my friend at the party or other girls? Or is he just a boy magnet?

reader, anonymous, writes (28 January 2011): I think he is a girl magnet as most of the girls on my street fancy him. I like him for him but they just like him for his looks and they take him for advantage but he just doesn't realise it.

reader, anonymous, writes (13 January 2011): He does seem to be quite the boy magnet but that can also be the effect of alcohol and boys feel less inhibited about their preference. Protection over girls is still a boy instinct but attraction to same sex may prevail if you can discover if he truly is a boy magnet. Talk to him about your theory and if he admits he likes you make sure no ex boyfriends are in the picture before proceeding. You will feel less out in the cold after this discussion.
