writes:Hey everyone,I have been seeing this guy lately and I'm not sure if he is flirting or just being friendly. He has been asking me questions that you usually ask someone you're interested in. He laughs at funny and not funny things I say. I turn around to look at him, he was already looking at me and we both smiled at each other at the same time. The last time I saw him, I was standing in front of him and then for about 2 seconds he put his hands gently on my hips. When he talks to me, he'll give eye contact and then look away and smile at the end of whatever he is saying. Flirting or just friendly?

Just to let people know that he has been asking questions (getting to know me ones) and I have been getting to know him. It was just the last time, he quickly put his hands on my hips. I haven't exactly touched him yet.

If a guy likes you, he'll let you know. Some guys are very firtly in a friendly way. At the end it doesn't mean anything. So just go with the flow and if he likes you, he'll make a move.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 July 2010): I'm having this problem too. Exactly the same problem. But it IS flirting, he's said he liked me. (But he was unfortunatly drunk at the time.) But it definatly sounds like flirting. And this boy is doing it very sweetly too. :) your very lucky. Good luck.
