writes: hi, i'm going through a divorce and was doing volunteer work at a sports event and ran into a guy i know from work, he was staring at me and i felt our eyes lock and felt very connected to him, turns out he's my neighbor that lives across the alley! he was driving by and i guess i'm kinda confused about maybe that he might like me in a romantic way. the last time he drove by we kinda just looked at each other, i don't know why i didn't wave but i didn't. now i never see him at all, he goes out the other way in the alley, i haven't seen him in 3 weeks! i think i like him and would like to be friends but do you think i blew it or do you think he might be feeling rejected and trying to avoid me? i can't call him because his number isn't in the book and it's the middle of the winter here and 15 below zero! should i just wait till spring and see what happens?

Personally,i dont think it has anything to do with you not waving.If a fella was keen on a girl i dont think that would put him off....besides ,he probably thought you were daydreaming or something.There might be an innocent explanation on why he has taken a different route.If i was you...when you see him again(which you probably will do) why not ask him out for a coffee...or just try talking to him...strike while the irons hot.If he isnt interested...well at least you tried.Good luck.
