Is he actually just busy with work?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *oniqueEE writes:

So before I left for my 2 month adventure in the US, I hooked up with an old acquaintance. Needless to say he's incredible in bed.

The night before I left we spent the night together, dinner, chamapagne and all the rest and he said he would miss me but to have an amazing time.

The US was great and yes I met someone, but he's over the Atlantic.

Now that I've returned I thought I would check in to see if he's available as I'm up for some fun. I texted him but he did not reply. He then sent a email a day later saying sorry, that he has seen it but now that he was running the company because the boss was away he would have to cancel his social life for a few weeks. He asked how my trip was etc.

I replied to the email and got nothing back. I am very confused.

Should I leave this guy alone because although we had sex a couple times, we still had great convo. Is he just not interested, or should I take his word for it that he's really busy and just see if he gets in touch later?

He is 26 if that at all helps :)

Thanks

If he's still too busy for you even after his "couple of weeks" running the office, then I'd say he isn't interested. For now, though, I think it'd be fine to give him the benefit of the doubt.
