Question - (17 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 17 March 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

In January I started a new job and fell in love with it immediately. A couple of weeks into the job I was introduced to a Polish man who normally worked night shifts and he was very friendly if not a little flirty and sleazy, but I just shrugged it off as I was told he was like it with all young girls.

Anyway in the past couple of weeks he has moved onto day shifts so I see him pretty much every day and I've started to develop really strong feelings for him and was told by other members of his department that he really likes me too.

This would be fine but people on my department are still telling me to be wary of him and not get involved as he is a player and he has a different girl every day of the week so to speak.

He seems really genuine to me and we get on amazingly although I wouldnt want to have to leave the job I adore if things happened and didnt go right and also we have a little age gap of me being 21 and him being 34 which isnt a problem for either of us but other people are commenting on how close we are and making comments because of our ages!

Do you think this could work out or is it something we're going to have to forget about? Any opinions would be great :)

Pyro_Dimples agony auntIts never wise to date a co-worker but If he seems really genuine then go out with him a few times and see how it goes. Get to know him better and learn about him. You have to use your best judgment never listen to other peoples he said she said because if you do it can make you miss a really great thing.
