I would like to know since it's not very pleasant during sex of any kind because of the smell. I've heard that douching can cause infections, so I haven't done it ever.

:-D
It will all be fine, but youll be happier if you get it sorted!

I think it's been happening the whole time. My doctor just recently switched me to a new birth control pill, so we'll see how that turns out. Thanks for all the other tips though. I'll try and see what happens.

If it smells, go to the doctor, especially if it smells enough to put you off sex!
Have you just gone on the pill? Because I smelled a lot for about 2 weeks after going on the pill but the doctor changed my pill and it went away!
As for douching, you absolutely need to wash down there. THe best is to wash the outside of your vagina, lips etc with body wash or gentle soap and then to rinse it totally clean of any soap, and using the shower head, put one or two fingers inside, while running water into the palm or your hand. This gets only a little bit of water up inside you but enough to clean you out!
Its not as much as douching which usually uses some sort of soap inside the vagina but this just uses plain water which shouldnt irritate.
Sorry thats graphic but maybe it will help!!
If this doesnt clear up within a day or two I would definitely say go to the doctor, who will sort it out right away!
