Fancy yourself as an agony aunt? Add your answer to this question! A reader, alex, writes (2 February 2005): No sexual activity is 100% safe but you can do all you can to make it so.Always use a good quality well known strong condom. You will need to use some form of lubricant like ky jelly (water based) or similar (this is a must do and use loads to save the condom bursting) NEVER use other household creams or vaseline as they will perrsh the condom. Just as vaginal sex have a play first. For your partners sake dont do any sudden or deep thrusts (ouch!) build up to what you both want and Have safer fun!

reader, Rebecca Batchelor +, writes (1 February 2005):
Anal sex is the highest risk activity for transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. Use a condom if you are going to have anal sex and one which is extra strong to cope with the strains of anal sex. Be careful about touching the vagina after anal sex as the risk of infection is very high.
