Not exactly. Inside your body your vagina is elongating to accomadate the penis. That is similar to the erection.
The lubrication is something unique to women. Pre-cum has the task of clearing the penis of urine as that is lethal for sperm.

I have also read posts from some girls that say they when they are giving a guy a blowjob, their vagina gets really wet cuz they are so turned on. I've even read posts from a few women who said they got so wet from giving their boyfriend a blowjob that they had an orgasm from it!

Yes and no.
The female vagina prepares itself for sexual intercourse by secreting lubrication. The vagina also enlongates in preparation for penile entry.
The male gets erect in preparation for sexual intercourse. Men also get "wet", we secrete "precum" which cleans the urethra of any urine that might be present that can kill the sperm. It also lubricates the urethra so that the semen can be ejaculated more efficiently.
But not all erections equate to arousal. Men oftentimes achieve many erections while sleep. This has nothing to do with arousal (in most cases) as this is the body's natural function in helping to keep the penile tissue healthy (if you need more information about what this actually means, just PM and I'll explain it in depth).
When the female vagina is properly lubricated, this allows for easier penis entry and decreases the friction created during the in-out motion of the penis in the vagina. But the male must be aroused "erect" in order to properly penetrate. She must be aroused "wet" in order to be properly penetrated.
Hope this helps.

Yes, they are pretty much equivalent.
It's just the different ways the body reacts to being turned on. The body prepares for sex - so in a man's case, this would mean getting an erection, and in the woman's case, this would mean getting wet as a form of natural lubrication so that it's easier for the man to get in there.
