writes: i tried searching for a medical site to help me but got lost and didnt find anything useful ,have been two days since my vaginal opening is irritated and has little white stuff on in that if i scrathced can be removed but it is uncomfortable to do so , and the area so so dry . and it can burn a little bit when it touches water . i'm not sexualy active . and if i could go to a doctor i would have went .so please either share ur experience with me or show me a page or site about this cause i searched but couldnt find anything . thanks.

yor irritation and burning sensation could be linked to thrush you dont have to be sexually ctive to get it. if you have washed with something different it can cause thrush try using canneston duo cream and use fem fresh vaginal wash it restores the ph balance. hope this helps

Sounds like a yeast infection, I am just getting over one myself, no big deal, over the counter meds will clear it up.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 September 2009): could also be a yeast infection they are very common and easily treated with over the counter meds you can buy at any grocery store without having to see a doctor, would be itchy, burn, have that yellow or white discharge and smell really bad, there are kits you can buy at the store now that will help rule out some vaginal infections but not all might check into that. but if it doesn't get better in a few days try going to a free clinic or something.
