Question - (9 February 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 9 February 2008)
A male United States age 36-40, *arksides writes:

Dear Cupid,

For the past 3 months I havnt met with my Girlfriend, Due to for the first 2 months i was trying to spend some time with her and my family, in my house, She never found the time to come here, Saying she couldnt b/c school and job got in the way, I Partially understand this, so I played it cool and didnt go see her, So for 3 months we've played this cat and mouse game, .... 2 days ago she asked me for some time to herself so she could think things thorugh , I dont know what this meant, so i asked her if she loved me, she said She hoped so, she also mentioned that whatever happens happens and that if we were meant to be with one another we would, You see this is where my problem lies, I cant see myself with anyone except her, Im a grown man and i cant help but be depressed sobbing or what not over her. What should i Do? should i let her be, cut all contact and assume that she'll be faithfull still? or should i keep calling asking her to get back with me....? The title of this post is pointing to the fact that her parents are indian, well her father. and she's terrified of him, we never went out to the movies or dinner, due to the fact that she had to be home. I love her and dealt with that for 3 yrs. this a much longer story, but i just mentioned what was going on lately.
