Infatuation or love? I can't decide and I can't get him out of my mind

A female United Kingdom age 41-50, *iss confused3683 writes:

Well a year on and i am still infatuated, if that's the word, with the same guy.

i don't think i'm ever going to move on. i love him more than words can describe.

I know deep down he loves me too, or why would he put up with me? As i know i can be a cow and jealous at times, especially when it comes to other women.

Thing is, i know we are wrong for each other just i can't seem to function without him.....

Funny thing is i have never ever been like this with any of my past relationships, not even after being with my son's dad for seven years, so why him?

fi_the_tree agony auntMaybe this is more infatuation than love as such. I'm in a similar situation, although not as long as a year.

Everyone tells me to move on, but i just can't do it, it's weird. My advice would just be to try and keep busy, the more you can function without him, the better you'll feel.
