writes: I lost my first wife age 58 16 years ago, also her sister age 56 who was widowed died the same year, life can be a pig, I remarried 12 years ago, the marrage was never consumated because she was raped as a child by her uncle who went to prison. My present wife is a clean person and a good housekeeper, but there is no happiness and I think that I would ber better off if we were to seperate, but I don't want to sell my house which my first wife and I sacrificed to buy.I would be greatful for any advice that you can give. Maybe you can elaborate why is there no happiness? Is it something she is doing? Her age? Your age? And does she know you are not happy with her?
As for the house, you need to talk to a divorce lawyer/solicitor. He will be able to tell you what the laws are regarding maintaining ownership of your house.
