I mean, must I be graduated before I can start any kind of relationship with her? I almost confessed my feelings to her not too long ago, but stopped myself. I cannot tell if she is interested in me or not. Her actions towards me may just be due to her position as a teacher. However, she is not married...so that could mean that she is a lesbian as well. I'm just really in a mess! Any suggestions/comments/advice?

Goodness you are a hot mess.
1. a woman not married may or may not be a lesbian. She may live with a man or have a boyfriend. Even if she is not involved with someone, it does not mean you are of interest to her as anything other than a student.
2. I will BET THE FARM that she is not interested in you as anything other than a student. I had a crush on my teacher at age 17. He was a first year teacher so probably 22 to my 17.... he was outgoing and good looking and single... and I even went back after I was graduated adn 18 and NOTHING came of it then either...
3. When can you pursue her? Well I would graduate and go to college and deveolop a plan for dating her after you can properly court her... that will mean full time employment after a degree.. so at least 5 years... Senior year then 4 years of college
IF after 5 years you still want her and then she is intereasted I say go for it then. Of course by then, life may have changed for you or for her...
NOT what you want to hear but I get that.

Regardless she is your teacher and you can't be with her, it is unethical, immoral and illegal for her to have a relationship with a student. My advice is look up the laws for your state and see if it is legally acceptable for a teacher to date a student once the student graduates. The best advice is however, this is a crush and most people have crushes on their teacher at some point, try and get over it because it cause many problems. Good Luck.

Honestly it's best to forget about her. TeacherxStudent relationships are always bad, even if the student graduates.
