We're now second year students at a community college and are both getting into the workforce straight after.I've had a thing for her since I first met her and we've hung out so many times that it seems like we're best friends. We have a lot in common and I do want to get with her.Thing is, I'm kind of a bigger guy. I'm 6'1" and 220 lbs. This girl is 5'5" and 110 lbs. I've seen the kinds of guys she dates solely because I've played the jealous best guy friend. She goes for guys who are only slightly on the overweight side. And ever since junior prom, I've had it in my head that it will never happen with her.You see, we went together as friends and I leaned my face forward just the slightest bit and her eyes went wide and she turned her head. It was a complete rejection but I don't blame her. I would've, too, considering I'm fat and about 99.99% of the female population considers me ugly.Don't get me wrong, though, I've had a couple girlfriends in the past, but nothing was ever serious. My longest relationship was only five months and we broke up because she didn't like that I spent so much time with the girl I'm talking about.Anyway, we're both single at the moment but she's starting to get a little closer to this punkish guy who works on campus. They talk a lot and she's invited him to hang out with us quite a few times.Unfortunately, I'm starting to like the guy because he is pretty nice and he's insanely smart. But he's still not good enough for her. I'm just not really sure how to approach this situation. Any suggestions?
