writes: Well I've recently been bullied at school and i see it necessary to move schools as the bullying was so bad. My mum applied for the form and eveything and we did it all in secret but as soon as i got the news there was a place for me to move, the bullying stopped and I no longer get bullied.Now it's my last day of school; I have left my bestsest mate ever he is a boy and he is called Matty, he has been there for me thru everything. My dad has been ill in intensive care and he is always there for me guiding me thru and helping me get thru things. I just dont want to leave him and I just dont know what to do. I've already made friends at my new school and they are popular and have introduced me to lots of people and I have found a bf since I've been hanging about with them. Now its my last day I'm getting worried that im starting to love Matty as a bf and i just don't know what to do. I truley love Matty - he means more to me than my mates and my bf put together. Do I dump my bf for Matty coz I know Matty feels the same, or do i stay with my bf and just have Matty as my bestest mate ?? reply quick its killing me

reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2006): You leave your bf not because of Matty. You leave your bf because you feel you don't love him and you can't love him. This is a completely different case.
You being in love with Matty is another case. If you're single, you can try to pursue your relationship with Matty at a higher level. If it doesn't work out, and you two are mature about it, then great, stay good friends and continue you on. If it works out, awesome, you have a best friend and a lover at the same time.
