Long distance relationships do work if you are both willing to commit. I am living proof.
If you truely believe that it will work and you will settle down and have children then go for it and make sure you achieve it no matter what.
But if you don't think its going to happen and its not what you really want then end it, its better to end it now than when your living with him and have kids then decide it doesn't work and its not what you want.

No, you are not leading him on but yes, you are being unrealistic if you think that the two of you aren't going to see other people. Maybe you will get married one day and can have a good online friendship but what happens when prom comes around and you go to college?
