If you have taken the shot three times then you most likely are infertile for quite a while unless you have a different treatment to ensure fertility.

When I was on the Injection I didnt have periods for the entire duration,(1 year) I came off this due to migraine and went straight on the mini pill.. i did not have periods straight away, in fact it was 2 years later they suddenly came back. I now have periods of sorts but not really anything to write home about. Have you thought about coming off and seeing if your periods return, i was once told that it can take a couple of months for the body to adjust and they came back naturally. I wouldnt nessicarilly say that you were infertile as these contraceptions control the hormones and ilude the body to thinking its already pregnant, thus in most cases not all, cease the monthly periods. The abortion may have had some bearing but you may not know any of this until you come off the injection or try to concieve.. maybe if you are unduly concerned talk it over with your health practioner, but its pretty normal for periods not to be present taking the contraceptive injection. SO i wouldnt worry too much at present as this may have no bearing on the abortion at all. But do talk it over with your Gp and see what they think, i cant say for sure, but having not had my periods for two years, can say thats its normal taking any hormonal type contraception for them not to be present.
Take care x
