I'm worried about making noise during sex

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Now that Ive got used to a condom since 1st time sex I'm finding intercourse with my boyfriend more and more enjoyable.I think I'm now ready to go a bit vocal with the pleasure but I'm young and a bit nervous about starting. It's so quiet in the flats at night and someone might hear me.My boyfriend says it's perfectly normal for a girl to do this if she's having pleaurable sensations and in any case any sounds I make would only be muffled at the most from beyond our bedroom so I should just start and go for it if I'm ready. Has any other girl felt like this?

person12345 agony auntIf you are having to plan the noises then they aren't genuine and you shouldn't make them. You don't need to plan on it, just give a moan or something when it feels good. If something really feels that good, it will just come naturally.

No one will hear you, you're not going to be shrieking at the tops of your lungs. If it makes you feel better, when my partner and I started dating in college, the beds were ridiculously squeaky and the walls were not sound-proof at all. The guy next door could definitely hear "squeak-squeak-squeak" when we had sex and he was always very polite to me (and high-fived my bf). Presumably they are adults, you are adults, it's really not a big deal.

chigirl agony auntI don't think about it, I just get caught up in the moment. When I have sex with my boyfriend it's so great I loose track of time and space. No kidding. I don't remember where I am, window might be open, or the neighbours kids are right outside... I don't care, haha. When I'm in the middle of pleasure I make sounds, and I'm loud. My boyfriend has to hush on me occasionally, if the roomies are home.

Right now I live in a flat where you can literally hear the conversation of my neighbours when you're in my bathroom or bedroom. When my neighbours open their door it sounds like someone is entering MY flat. But that's not going to stop me. Sex is natural, and it's never so loud, or late at night, that it is keeping people awake or bothering them.

If you're really worried about the sounds, put on music.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntI once dated a girl who SCREAMED out the aria from "Carmen" whilest we were consummating our friendship..

It helped that she had her own home, and none of her neighbors was any closer than about 50 feet......

Let it fly.....

So_Very_Confused agony auntare you thinking about this? planning noise?

what i have found is that for some folks noise is involuntary... for others they are silent..

I seriously doubt if you are enjoying yourself and let your self go that you will have much control.

most adults know what sex sounds like...

just relax and enjoy...

Just go for it an enjoy yourself - but make noises because you feel pleasured as opposed to feeling you have to make noises for the sake of it.
