Trust your instinct - see someone different and make a big fuss - do not be worried about doing this as you are fighting the corner of someone you care about. You owe it to him and yourself to help him sort this out.

He really needs to go back to the hospital and see someone else, he should not be feeling this way and they should be able to run some more tests on him.
The doctors will not mind seeing him again if you are concerned and so i think that is the thing you really need to do babe, as much as we all like to try and help this sort of thing unfortunately no one can help with you really need to see someone professional.
Take care.xx.
