Problem is, she spent the whole time talking, agreeing with and laughing at crap jokes with a guy I know but is more a friend of a friend. He's a pretty intelligent good looking guy too.... Now I'm worried. Is this inevitable when meeting a group of mates and am I just being jealous or should I be concerned?

Just give her the benefit of the doubt dont be so quick as to think she might step out on you .Us girls can sometimes lol at silly crap jokes just to be friendly not to flirt or anything .So just relax and give the girl a chance ..

She may have thought the guy was a closer friend than he is. I would not be overly concerned. You are very early yet in your relationship. Give it more time. This is a time to learn the other person's real interests and personality.
