 You know, after a few months on Dear Cupid, I have seen many questions like yours, and I can't help being puzzled.
I grew up when the word "feminism " still had some meaning, and I am all for women making choices and taking charge of their life and sexuality.
Yet, I can't help wonder : what these boys DO nowadays ?
Just sit around looking pretty,like Southern belles at a picnic in the plantation ?
Why all these girls feel they must take the initiative and ask boys out ?
It's not wrong for a girl to ask a guy out. If he's hesitating and needs a gentle nudge in your direction. If he is very very shy. If she got herself stuck in the friends zone. Stuff like that.
But ,otherwise, why don't you girls let the boys do their part - which is chasing after you ? Let them do some of the work, let them sweat it a bit !
