I'm tired of being alone and would like to know how to branch out and meet someone!

Question - (15 August 2014) 1 Answers - (Newest, 24 August 2014)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My school is predominately female. I feel like I have the worst social life when it comes to guys. It's not that I'm an antisocial person, I just feel like every time I meet someone they either take advantage of me or it never leads to anything further than basic friendship.

It's also becoming super depressing to see everyone around you with someone except you for so long and it's boring being alone all the time. My question is what's a good way to branch out and meet someone properly and I'm wondering if it's something about me personally that drives people away. I'm just tired of having no one around for me.
