ive been shaving for the last 2 months, and i use razors and never get ingrown hairs, and the only reason i get pimples is if i get back from football practice or anywhere that causes me to sweat and not shower immediatly, and when i shave i completely shave so dont be sacred just never try it while in a hurry, always allow your self about 15 minutes in the shower to do that, so i recommend using razors, if you want to be shaved for a date just incase you happen to get lucky, i would shave about 4-5 hours before the date just so i am not rushed

i think it sounds like im gonna stick to shaving because its safer. i actually did get about 10 ingrown hairs about a week ago when i last shaved my pubes. about 4 of which were very painful and required digging to get out. im just not gonna shave so close and go with the grain, and use some cortizone cream.

Veet only delays hair growth by about a day or two longer than shaving. Ingrown hair depends on if you are already prone to this when you shave your face. If you are black you will most likely get in-grown hairs which appear as horrible pimples when the hair is growing back and twisting inside your skin while trying to sprout. Many white people don't have this problem so you can try and see. Shaving doesn't cause ingrown hair. You will probably need to repeat this (shave or Veet) every 5 to 10 days to remain hair free. But if you are really brave, go for waxing at a professional salon; hair regrowth takes about 3 to 4 weeks. If you are rich, laser hair removal removes it permanently and is done by dermatologists.

I'm assuming you are white? If so, you can use hair removal cream on your pubic area, but don't leave it too long (use shortest time on instructions), and be 100% sure you avoid the tip of your penis. If cream goes on the sensitive tip it will be very painful and dangerous as you risk chemical burns. Also shower immediately after but don't use soap or it will irritate the newly shaved skin. Veet is a good brand and they have one that comes with a sponge to use in the shower. If you are black or usually get ingrown hairs when you shave, then use a battery or electric shaver. Philips has a range of wet and dry ones you can use in the shower, or you can just buy those $5 ones from Walmart and keep it only for shaving that area. Do not use a razor for obvious reasons!!
