writes:hi im having a problem at the moment. i hang around in a group of 5 mates 2 of them are coupled up and its hard to see them kiss because it makes me feel lonely with know one. when i first started hanging around in this group one guy liked me we got loved up at one point when we were drunk only kisses and hugs but that was it and i really liked him while the other guy in are group liked me. well me and the other guy who liked me grew close as good mates then all i did was talk about the other guy and we grew apart now i have started to really like him and i feel he just wants to push me away and the other guy i liked in the first place is being really nice to me and hugging me loads saying if i ever need a one night stand hes there and im really confussed theres the guy who was a mate who liked me but i didnt like him then and now i do or the one who i used to like who i felt lead me on but then again hes been a real good mate to me these past few days and i was just shocked by his offer the other night he was a bit tipsy drunk but i dont no what to do. have you got any advice for me basically im so stuck on the guy who used to like me but because im lonely i really want to get with the other guy can give me a bit of advice please?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 April 2007): oh my god its funny a few years ago i was in the same situation as you you shud avoid trying to have a relationship wit ur mate u got drunk with its obvious he wants 1 thing and 1 thing alone apolagise to ur real best mate for going on about this other guy the whole time tell him his frienship means the world to you and if he wud just give you a chance youll make things right best of luck hopeyou make the right choice
