reader, anonymous, writes (24 August 2009): Maybe stop communicating with both for a short while and reflect as you might realise you miss one more than the other or can make a decision more easily. Either way realise that no woman wants to be cheated on - emotionally or physically.

No, seriously now...Sounds like you need to slow down a little and try to get to know both of them well enough to make a decision. Try not to get too deeply involved with *both* of them too quickly, and sooner or later, one of them will emerge as the better choice.Don't be a player and continue this process for too long, just be mindful that while you're making up your mind, they are making up theirs also. If you've already done all this and still don't have a clue...maybe try and figure out which one you're thinking about more, and go with her. Be exclusive to her, and see if anything can be made of it. Don't cut yourself off from the other though, don't be her friend, but don't lose contact either. If the first don't work out, you may be lucky enough to have an opportunity to drum something up with the second one.above all, be sensitive to how they feel throughout your decision making process.

So go out with both until one or both dumps you. You know it's only in the last twenty years that people got it in their heads that they had to be monogamous *while they were dating*. Sheesh, when my parents were single, they'd date four or five different people each week. If one of the women has a problem with that, then that's a good sign she's too possessive and you probably won't want to choose her.
