We broke up 3 months ago and I'm still not over him. I don't have a lot of friends but the friends I do have are amazing. The problem is...they work during the day and have husbands to go to in the evening. Can anybody give me ideas of things I can do during the day to keep myself busy and my mind off my ex-boyfriend? I would really like to get out there and meet other single people. How can I do that?

How about joining the gym or a club? You could go to a class down at the gym a few times a week, have a work out or a swim aswell.
Being pregnant and unemployed I find I get bored and lonely, especially when my hormones are going spazz so I have joined a book club at the local library where we meet up once a week and talk about books and stuff.
Cinema is also a good loneliness killer. I hated the thought of going to the cinema on my own but I go once a week now. I tend to avoid weekends and evenings as it gets packed with kids.
Ask your female friends if they are up for a girly night out and head to a bar and see if you can meet single people there. My dad met his girlfriend at a singles night they hold once a month where we live.
